The big picture was clear.

The country had to be on the right side

of History no matter the sacrifices.

The freedom and the democracy had to win

and they won.

But the battle had nothing to do

with the local forces.

Everything was related to the global moves.

The end of the occupation had created

a real power vacuum.

And it was an opportunity

for the other barbarity

to spoil the rights of the population.

But of course not in an official way

because the  positions and the choices of Yalta

were more than clear.

But the dark side decided

to use a secret strategy

to change everything.

It was an attempt.

It tried something which was

from the beginning a failure

because propaganda has less power

than the reality of the facts.
