85357 - The journey in Vienna
N. Lygeros
As the score was written in Vienna
it recalls me my journey in this beautiful town
because I visited the house of Mozart
and I was able to listen to his compositions
in the same place and in the same room.
It was a wonderful gift from the Museum.
As the duration of the concerto is more or less half an hour
it’s possible to get the big picture.
It’s made from an Allegro which is impressive
by its huge size,
a Larghetto and an Allegretto.
I love especially the Larghetto
but I wanted to know the whole score.
It’s the only way to understand
Mozart’s mentation in 1786.
The beginning of the composition is naturally made
by the piano with the left hand
with the full assistance of the strings.
For the woodwinds,
the starting point is given by the bassoon
and few measures after,
it’s the entry of the oboe.
The clarinets are present only after
with almost all the instruments.
