With the new data that we have in Israel right now, we have to clarify some positions. The idea is to say that we need negotiations and also a peace plan. But the problem is to understand what each side wants for the future. So, the position is: Do you want something like an equilibrium? Do you want something which is based on the result of 1967, on the result of 1948? You want something before that? Because the idea is to consider that we can find a solution and a way to solve this problem is to fix it. But the resolution of this problem is rather tough. Why? Because we do not see the position of each side. When we see what Hamas wants, it’s clear. Because we can see also its symbol and we know that in their mind all the region should be only Palestine with no Israel. This is the same position for Iran and all the players in the region. So, the idea is: Are we trying to find a solution without the examination of both sides? And how many sides we have? Because Israel is a reality. So, the shape of Israel has a meaning. But the problem is that for some players they don’t want any shape of Israel, they don’t want Israel at all and in fact they want to destroy it. So the problem is: Can we accept the destruction of a state which is recognized from 1947 by the Organization of United Nations? No, of course not. So, our position has to be clear about that. We are not talking about erasing a state. We are talking about a solution with an equilibrium at the first level but in fact we need a harmonic solution for this problem if we really want to fix it.
