Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias

All those graves you see behind me are Commonwealth graves, therefore within, there are  people who fought for the Freedom of Europe and we understand that some are from England, some from France, some from New Zealand, some from Australia, who came to fight against barbarism. They sacrificed themselves so that we could live free and for that reason it is important for us to be coming here and seeing them because they belong to the memory of Humanity.
