9350 - Faith in the Monsters of Humanity
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Evi Charitidou
– Why do you believe in the Monsters of Humanity?
– Otherwise, our life wouldn’t have a meaning.
– Ours? How about theirs?
– They don’t have a life. Their death is our life.
– Why don’t they have a life?
– Society forbade it to them.
– And how do they accept it?
– With indifference.
– Isn’t this a wound for them?
– The wound can’t be wounded.
– And why should they die?
– So that they come back!
– For what reason?
– To help Humanity.
– Since they are prohibited by society.
– This prohibition doesn’t count, when they must confront its animals.
– Its animals?
– The criminals of the system.
– Which system?
– The one which has committed the crimes against humanity.
– Do you mean genocides?
– Among others.
– And who believes in the monsters of humanness?
– The humans recognizing their work.
– And what about the others?
– They are individuals of society.
– Why are things so simple?
– Because they are not simpleminded.
– And why don’t we listen to this?
– It’s hard to listen to silence.
– It could be, indeed … You, how do you know how to listen to it.
– I don’t; I learn.
– I want to learn, too.
– I am not a Master.
– Why do I need one?
– If you want to participate in the work of Humanity.
– Otherwise?
– You will survive and you will call this a life.
– And what about the life?
– There is one, only when you belong to Humanity.
– Otherwise?
– You remain in your society.
– This is what I don’t want!
– Then you now know what you have to do.
