95206 - A new mission, a new target

Ν. Lygeros

From the airplane the world is always different. Every battle on the ground looks like a detail.  What is important in the battlefield can be in reality just a specific case of something which is by default bigger because it’s related to strategy. With this point of view, even a conflict can be a tessera of a hidden mosaic. That’s why we have to think in a different way about things which look obvious. Because the new data can change even the vision of what we call a problem. With a new mission, we can find new targets and only due to serendipity. It’s sufficient to be open minded to see much more of the big picture. After all a war is not only a succession of battles. We can imagine that those battles constitute a network. This is obvious for a proxy war but it’s rather strange for an international war at least at the first glance. That’s why it’s important to recall the structure and the infrastructure of the Cold War. Especially when some countries refuse to see its end in 1991. This denial is due to the fact that they do not recognize their failure. It’s not consistent with the idea of revenge but who cares. Each mission offers new data and new possibilities to have an impact in the evolution of Humanity. And that’s the crucial point when we have a global vision of the planet. We have to think big and the sky is the onlly limit at the beginning because we also need the vision of space.
