For Turkey it was obvious that Syria would be the framework of its Decision Theory but it was wrong. And now we are already in a war game of Game Theory. With the erase of the trace of Russia or Iran, Turkey in its mind was thinking that it will have the opportunity to play alone. But now it appears that the US has a dominant strategy in this new war game. They want to protect minorities, they support Kurds and Druzes, they have an action which is compatible with the action of Israel and they want to keep Russia and Iran away in this new Cold War. By the way, Kurdish forces have gained on the battlefield against the forces which are with Turkey at the strategic level. It’s another proof that there is a deep lack of strategy even in Syria where things were simple at least for its vision in the Middle East. But finally, everywhere is difficult and complex in this region of the world. Now there is another problem for Turkey and it comes from Russia which lost its dominance in Syria because it understood that Turkey was a fake partner. So, we have many forces in presence and not one. And we also have a lot of pressure from outside. The funny thing about the situation is that the outsiders are inside and it’s impossible for them to play alone in this closed world. The misunderstanding of the situation by Turkey has a result in its new strategic future.
