95996 - Hammer time

N. Lygeros

Many people are thinking right now that it’s time to reach negotiations and compromises. For them by the way, politics is the act of compromise. But in reality, we see many differences with this simplistic model. In fact, it’s hammer time not only in the Middle East but also at the front of Ukraine. Even negotiations will be in the framework of war and not peace. Because it’s simple to see the next steps and it’s impossible to consider that peace can be productive right now. We have to fight against dictatorships and also terrorists at both frontlines. We are talking about hammer time. We have to continue to resist the attacks of barbarity. There is no reason to negotiate with it. We never did it in WWII and even in the Cold War. So, we don’t have to do it even if we want to be politically correct because our duty is of course to protect innocent people and territorial integrity of any country which wants to live free, that’s all, nothing less nothing more. Now we have to convince our allies that it’s possible to defeat barbarity and that we have to be tough and efficient at the strategic level in order to liberate occupied territories and to show to other dictatorships that we are ready to fight because we are robust and it’s our duty.
