50269 - Ancient mental lament
N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athina Kehagias
Narration: Eleni Karpouzis
Who could conceive
the notion of ancient mental lament?
Definitely the slaves
and the victims
had felt it.
But we didn’t know if somebody
could feel it
after so many eons…
But now the library
had explained it to us.
Even us
after the deactivation of the oblivion
we’ve lamented
for these lives
of the past.
But afterwards
that evolved
into a duty of remembrance
to later be transformed
into mental compassion.
