Narration: Athina Kehagias
In the context of the anniversary of the genocide of the Greeks of Pontus, there are many who are unaware of what to do due to the pandemia, or due to the gradual lifting of the measures.
Instead of everyone trying to think of an absurd and dangerous gathering, they ought to remember that the anniversary means that you honour the memory of the genocided ones and that you protect the innocent from barbarism.
An effective manner for that to occur, is for us to make masks with the colours of Pontus or even with the eagle of Pontus. In that manner, we will pass on the message that even in a pandemic phase, we do not forget the barbarism we have suffered from the Turkish regime.
After all, slogans could be used as well.
What’s important is to become obvious, that the mask protects the person wearing it, and the person does not forget the victims of the genocide of the Greeks of Pontus.
Consequently, the message towards foreigners as well, will be quite clear, since it will show that no matter how difficult the situation may be, the continuants of the survivors do not forget the act of barbarism, the crime against Humanity, the genocide of the Greeks of Pontus.
