It may be that many waited so many years for the first utilization of the vision of the Greek EEZ, but now for the first time this battle for its exploitation is justified.
And so, even though the concept of the EEZ exists as from 1982, and the Law re: the Hydrocarbons from 1995, it was only in 2012 that we have experienced a phase change, when the EEZ for the first time, in actual fact entered politics as an issue. A fact which led to the initiation of the large licensing round in 2014 .
Ever since then, we had to endure the absurd, ie, the intimidation re: the cancellation and thereon the unacceptable delay.
But we overcame all these as well, with perseverance and without ever been discouraged, even under adverse circumstances.
Because all that matters is for Greece to overcome the difficulties.
And all those who live through scaremongering, fearmongering and conspiracy theories, they must now admit that in this case we’ve achieved a feat which all those simply assumed as inconceivable.
Whereas we are now talking about reality and with prospects at that.
Because after the marine block 2, we have 10 and 1. Then on, a new licensing round, and in between, alliances at an international level with Total, Edison and Exxon Mobil.
Consequently, those who were saying that it couldn’t happen, will have to now live with this reality, because Greece’s future has begun and those who can’t endure the fact they ought to now stay aside, because we will continue to fight regarding the emergence of the Greek EEZ and its strategic utilization.
