Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

Now that the EuroAsia Interconnector underwater electric cable has become the main development of the tripartite between Greece – Israel – Cyprus programs, we are beginning to notice politicians who want to utilize i , as if to by that say, that they have actually done something regarding the issue along the way.
Of course we all know who really did in actual fact something, and who did absolutely nothing.
What is important is that the program is relentlessly at a progress, and that it has more and more supporters as time goes on.
Because even those who didn’t believe in it, or those who tried to hinder it, now finally recognize its value, as they acquire political gain by promoting it.
And this is occurring even at the highest level of the participating countries.
Consequently, we see that the production of a strategic project does not need political support, because if the project is actually an energean one, the support will come to enhance it in any case, because politics are also in need of implementations.
At the political level, those who would claim the project have not yet appeared as they don’t comprehend at what stage it’s in, however, in due time they bound to appear.
The struggle re: the EuroAsia Interconnector has been going on for years and it will continue in the same fashion.
We will now merely have politicians, who will try to explain to us how important their own contribution was towards the realization of the project.
The most important factor though is, that we are moving on relentlessly in order to in practical terms help, Hellenism’s high strategy in the Eastern Mediterranean.
