22116 - In regards to the pseudo-State

N. Lygeros
Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias

Every year we hear the same from politicians and especially by those who are dealing with the issue based on misperceptions.
All those years the pseudo-state has accomplished absolutely nothing, because neither Turkey itself really wanted so.
It prefers for it to be a nothing matter, which has an absolute dependence on the motherland, because in actual fact, it knows that this constitutes a foreign country and doesn’t want to do anything to aid it become developed.
Deep down it considers that a Turkish Cypriot, is not Turkish enough in order for him to receive the same attention.
On the other hand we have our own, who are trying to explain to us, that they are doing something, when in actual fact they deal only with details, which don’t concern Turkey, but as soon as they address issues which affect Turkey, then suddenly the negotiations become more intense and are blocked inexplicably.
Consequently, we all understand that this regards a game, to which the rules are changed arbitrarily whenever it doesn’t suit Turkey.
Therefore, it would be preferable for us to follow our high strategy through the Cypriot EEZ, and move more dynamically towards the third licensing round in regards to the marine plots that have not yet been licensed, but to even create others, where the new strategic objectives are situated, and are consisting of karstic limestones.
And so, in this manner we enhance our position within the tripartite context as well.
The alliance we’ve formed with Egypt is important, and it should be enhanced in this fashion, and not to opt in wasting time on the wrong context, because the elections are not panacea for Cyprus, whereas, the solving of the Cypriot issue in a just manner is what the whole nation is longing for.
