CORCAS represents a consultative body which has a primary mission to provide advice in relation to resolving the Western Saharan issue, aiming at a third diplomatic path, ie, the proposal for autonomy.
In that configuration, the national defense, the foreign affairs and the currency, would be Moroccan responsibilities.
Therefore, the issue of independence should be promoted based on the 2006 Moroccan proposal to the United Nations.
This actually equates to a role playing in the conclusive population return, and into a role regarding the final return of populations that are enclaved in the camps of Tindouf.
Therefore, the autonomy plan is a balance from the perspective of the game theory, which is the result of consultations between the Sahrawi, within the CORCAS context.
Consequently, its role it’s to give substance to this proposal, in order for it to obtain international dimensions.
This requires for us to think collectively in regards to the Western Sahara, in the context of the provinces of the South, but to also act locally in order to alter the situation.
This manner of action also reflected in the level of both the nation and the region.
This action must be conducted at all levels, and therefore has three authorities, the executive one, the judicial and the legislative one.
All this makes sense, but it would’ve been interesting for the question to be set accross to them, of whether they should be more daring in order to rid themselves completely from the decolonization aspect, as that concept does not reflect this situation, and it would make more sense in obtaining several analyses which have the potential to lead to other perspectives.
