Translated from the Greek by Athena Kehagias
Now thet we can objectively see that there are French-Cypriot energy negotiations regarding the licensing, while it was announced by all, that there was already a departure, nobody says that they had been wrong in their estimates, which they indeed presented as actual data.
So, the people who are under defeatism, heard that information and knelt even more for no reason.
It’s furthermore confirmed by the attorney general of the Republic of Cyprus, that there is no legal impediment in regards to the amendments of the contract between Cyprus and the French company.
Consequently, there can be a direct, or an indirect amendment, in regards to either a new participation or a contract diversification.
Moreover, the possibility of a third licensing round is no longer utopian, but an option that is free and legal.
Therefore, this “definitive fact” which was described by journalists without any composition, in order to supposedly create new data which we are still discussing, does not exist.
The energy issue is therefore not closed, as they presented it, but open to talks, which are playing a huge role in the developments regarding the undertakings of the Cypriot EEZ, but even the Cypriot issue itself.
We must therefore be very careful, because the statements have consequences on the noosphere, not only ours, but also our nation’s.
We now objectively see, that there is a consensus at a national level by all political parties in Cyprus. Therefore, the Cypriot side is now coordinated.
And on the part of the French company, there is no intention to cease all contacts.
And so, we all understand that the initial “definitive statement” was beyond the limits of the data.
On a practical level, strategic thinking functions only in a structured context. Therefore, the French-Cypriot energy negotiations continue, while simultaneously the research and drilling on the deposit Amathusa is continuing, by the Italian- Korean company.
