We were in a room again
to write down the proceedings of the trial
which took place in the year of grace 1921,
and we were wondering whether we could
with our voices, reenact the atmosphere
which prevailed during the exchanges.
And then after having read the introduction,
we entered slowly
this mental transformation
of the victim, accused of murder,
and of the advocate of the humanity
to convince the judge
to liberate justice.
