We were in the month of February

and yet the sea was blue

as in the other hemisphere,

so we went to the shore

to walk in the water

free of all movements

between the sea and the land

between the ocean and the continent

alone in the middle of everything

to see the human limits

in a world without society

and we plunged ourselves

to swim inside the frontier

then suddenly a sound, a cry

or perhaps a whistle

this place was forbidden.
