After each mission abroad, what we realize is that the more missions we do, the more humane we become. And the reason I could say that is simple, because, when we go to different regions of the world, with other people, even if it is within the context of Hellenism, in actual fact the change of mentality, geography, conditions, enhances our plasticity. It’s not that we become adapted, but actually the plasticity becomes stronger because it observes other conditions and manages to integrate them into its way of thinking and in this manner we can say that the mission works catalytically, because if it didn’t, this change wouldn’t be obvious, this integration wouldn’t have occurred and therefore this enrichment would not exist. And this enrichment makes us more humane because in fact we are obliged, if we are actually in a mission phase, to integrate the data caused by the existence of others and their different approach, and this enriches our own mental context because quite simply in a classic context that need would not exist. Therefore, actually we are out of the chessboard, out of the box and both the chessboard and the box grow, because quite simply we have the possibility to live in this manner as well. Quite simply, before we didn’t know it, whereas thanks to missions we are discovering it
