The power of Christ
is not
upon the cross
which remains
a tool
of torture
but the logos
and if you don’t
acquire it
from the Gospels
then their parables
are bound to seem
mere exaggerations
whereas it’s those
which changed
the world
because He gave
not one command
but merely a recommendation
and that is
love each other
as I loved you.
